How Spear-Waving Samaritans Saved me from Bandits

Daily Mail Article (Saturday 20 April 2002)

Daily Mail (2002).
Newspaper Cutting

A report about a British traveller who had possessions stolen by armed thieves in Isalo National Park, along with several fellow travelers who were in Madagascar to see the eclipse of 2001. The report describes how spear-wielding Bara tribesmen came to their rescue. Aspects of the article appear somewhat exaggerated, in keeping with typical Daily Mail reporting style. The report includes colour photographs of the traveler, Klare England, and Isalo National Park.
