This issue of Wanderlust adventure travel magazine includes in its "Check In" feature a one-page article entitled "Prizes & Politics: A Rollercoaster Ride for Madagascar".

This is a report on President Ravalomanana's "Durban Vision" – an ambitious project to increase Madagascar's protected areas threefold – which won The British Guild of Travel Writers' 2006 Globe Award for the best major new tourism project worldwide after being nominated by Hilary Bradt.

The author of the article, which features a photograph of Grandidier's Baobabs by Daniel Austin, is not identified.
