A summary and species list from Field Guides' 2005 guided birdwatching tour of Madagascar and neighbouring islands. Although the focus is on details of bird species seen and heard on this expedition, there are also lists of mammal, reptile, and amphibian sightings.
In Madagascar the guides, Jay VanderGaast and Rose Ann Rowlett, took the group to sites including the following protected areas: Ankarafantsika, Perinet [Andasibe], Mantadia, Zombitse, Berenty, and Ranomafana.
