A plastic template for drawing the outline of Madagascar at a scale of approximately 1:9,200,000. There are 24 2mm holes for marking the positions of the following places: Antsiranana (Diego Suarez), Iharana (Vohemar), Antalaha, Mahajanga (Majunga), Marovoay, Toamasina (Tamatave), Antananarivo, Antsirabe, Belo-Tsiribihina, Ambositra, Nosy Varika, Ihosy, Farafangana, Morombe, Toliara (Tulear), Betioky, and Taolanaro (Fort Dauphin). There are a few holes that are unlabeled, and it is not clear what they correspond to. Several of the holes are inaccurately positioned. Regional boundaries are also shown.
