Postage Stamp
A commemorative stamp depicting the oil tanker Esso Gasikara, a 37-metre 200-ton vessel built in 1962 at Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) by Direction des Constructions et Armes Navales for the Standard Vacuum Oil Company. It was issued on 18 October 1962 and has a face value of 15 francs. The stamp is cancelled with a postmark that is probably from Manjakandriana.
