This aircraft, registration 5R-MLA (constructor number 31-7952076) is a 9-seat Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain. It was acquired by Air Madagascar in August 1990 and named "Ankiliabo".
This photograph shows 5R-MLA on the tarmac at Ivato International Airport, Antananarivo, Madagascar, taken by Thomas Brügge on 16 May 2007. In the background are other Air Madagascar aircraft including the de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter with registration 5R-MGD.
