Postage Stamp
A stamp depicting a golden bamboo lemur (Hapalemur aureus) amongst foliage; the species had only recently been discovered in 1986. It was issued in 1989 and has a face value of 250 francs (50 ariary). The stamp is cancelled with a postmark that is from Tananarive [Antananarivo], dated 1990.
